End of year refeltion

At vardon I been doing lots of cool stuff we done kapa haka and art club it was so much fun i enjoyed playing with my friends and having a good time but this year term 4 I am leaving to go to intermediate and i will miss all my friends and my teachers that I been with.I will be very scared because when I go to intermediate I will see new faces that I haven't seen before but i think I will get use to it hopefully.when I leave vardon school I will try and have the most fun I can ever have and I hope vardon school a merry christmas and have a happy new year.

Dream job

Last week we had for our home learning we got a sheet.  I looked at it and it was about our dream job it said that if you win you will win lots and lots of money it was so cool. I was so excited to start my dream job we read it and we had to put it in our bags when I got home I got started then I was finished my dream job it was so awesome then I went to show my nanny and grandad then when the day passed it was the morning I got ready for school and I went to school and I coloured my picture in then it was finished I passed my dream job sheet to Mrs gunn and I went to my desk and my dream job was a artist and a builder I wanted to be an artist because then people will have my cool art work on their wall and I will get lots of money then I wanted to be an builder because I get to build my own big house and get to help other people to build their own homes and i hope that i can win the money for my family.

Athletics

On the first week we did throwing we had to pick somebody to buddy up with. Then on the second week we did high jump we had to start off low then it got higher and higher then some people starting to kick the pole off we cheered for them because they gave it their best shot. Then on the third week we did long jump we had to beat our high score it was very hard but to some other people it was that easy. Then when we finished we had to think about our goals my goal for throwing is to put my hand behind my ear and step back and Ame for the sky and run up and throw and that's how to  make your throw go higher and farrier. My goal for high jump is to jump higher and always land on my feet. My goal for long jump is to don't miss the mat and always land on the green line to make you jump farrier and my favourite sport was high jump because it stretches your legs out more and it makes you jump higher. Then when we were finished long jump we had to wait until the next week for sprints but when we do sprints I bet everyone will do great.....

fruit kebabs

last month we filled up our treasure chest and whenever we fill up our treasure chest we get a treat and it is fruit kebabs first we had to get a notice from our teacher mrs gunn and we had to write what fruit we are going to bring then on Friday we had to bring our fruit to school chopped up then we played a little game we had these buttons then we had to answer our teachers questions. If we knew that question we had to push the buttons. We had to go up to 20 it was fun and my group won and the other team were cheering us on it  was awesome and when we won we got another treat for our fruit kebabs then after that we had to all go out side then we put mats on the ground so we can put are fruit kebabs on it we had to sit down and we had a chopping board so if we didn't chop our fruit up we had to use the chopping board then after when we chopped up the fruit we had to go and get the sticks from our teacher then after that we put our fruit on the sticks then it was time for the treats for our fruit kebabs it was marshmallows and chocolate sauce it was yummy then after that we could eat them it was yummy. then after that we had to wash are hand and wash our faces and i enjoy when we got the chocolate sauce and it was the best day of my life!

My habitat box

Last, last week Room 14 made some cool habitat boxes the habitat boxes show some animals like lions,buffalo,cheater,and other kind of animals the hardest part to make in your habitat box is the animals because some people brought toy animals and some people made some like me it was hard for me because I had to use all kind of stuff like :

• A soccer ball for the head
• paper for the main
• cardboard for the body
• pipe cleaners for the tail
• Some Popsicle sticks for the legs
• A Sharpe to draw on the face

And put them all together and that makes a daddy lion.I also made a mummy lion and a baby lion it was so cool.I am proud of my work because it was pretty hard but I made it at the end and that's all about habitat boxes.

Production reflection

On the first night of production we where very nervous but excited. When I walked in everyone was in there  and then we all  got changed  and then we did the  black lipstick and the mokos it was very fun  and when we all got changed we had to wait a well we waited we had to colour in pictures and  watch a movie and then it was time to go on stage we all had to line up out side it was very cold and then when we got to the hall  we had to get into are line who we stranded next to then we went inside we had to wait for the girls to do the karayka  and when they finished the karayka the cretins opened then all the parents and teachers  and siblings and nanny's  and grandads where all sitting down i was very nervous we did the song first then the haka it was very cool then we singed hotomouwea well we went down the steps then we did aouteroa each of us was on each side then  when we where finished we walked out of the hall came through the back door a sat down and watch the other culture preform it was so cool and i was proud of myself.

Production 2015

Last week it was so awesome because we did production in production we do different cultures like kapa haka and china it is very cool.And the culture that I was in was kapa haka we had to put on our are blue dress then we did the mokos  and we had to put on the head bands then the pupu it was really cool. and then we where ready. well we had to wait we had to colour in some pictures and watch a movie.I enjoyed the part at the end how we all had to stand on stage and sing kiwi kids.because we where all together as a big hole community.I have to improve to stand on the stage and look at my audice  and be brave.my favourite item was the pupu because they look really cool.Thats all about the production.
